SKI CLUB LAUNCHES NEW TRAVEL INSURANCE
The Ski Club has joined forces with a new insurance partner to create a comprehensive, year-round travel insurance policy that will cover Members and their families for everything from skiing to snorkelling. Get yours and be ready to travel as soon as restrictions allow!
Working with the FCA-authorised and regulated Millstream Underwriting Ltd, the Ski Club has launched a comprehensive new annual, multi-trip travel insurance policy for Members.
Platinum Ski Club Membership includes annual European travel insurance. This specialist winter sports policy offers a range of benefits, including up to 45 days of skiing in a year – including off-piste skiing, heliskiing and telemark skiing – up to £10m emergency medical treatment, and up to £2,000 compensation for lost, stolen or damaged winter sports equipment.
Available for individuals (under 35s, 35-69 years, 70-75 years and 76-80 years) and families (with children under the age of 23), the policies can easily be upgraded through the Club’s dedicated team to offer insurance for global trips, additional ski days and more out of the ordinary activities.
The Club has designed the wide-ranging cover to include diverse winter holiday activities but it’s always wise to double check that your policy covers a particular activity, in case you fancy some dog sledging, ice climbing or paragliding.
Prices for annual European Platinum Membership policies start from £130 for individual cover and £220 for family cover. Members further benefit from a 15% discount on additional policies bought directly from the insurer.
Cover is not provided by Ski Club Travel Insurance for those travelling against the advice of the FCDO but policies do include a Pandemic endorsement, such as COVID-19. For full pricing details and conditions of specific policies, visit skiclub.co.uk.
