CLUB’S NEW INSURANCE POLICIES PROVE A WINNER
As travel opens up again and Ski Club Members look forward to a winter of mountain fun, our new range of insurance policies has got you covered
The Club’s fantastic new range of insurance policies, including Platinum Membership, have been available to Members for nearly a year. And having overcome initial restrictions on travel in late 2020 and early 2021, they’re now proving more popular than ever.
The Club works closely with brokers Bluefin Sport, part of the wider Marsh Commercial group, to administer these new policies. Bluefin have been one of the UK’s biggest sports-focused insurance brokers for many years, sourcing cover for national governing bodies, sports leagues and organisations alike. Athletes covered by them featured prominently at the Tokyo Olympics, demonstrating the expertise and versatility Bluefin bring to this partnership.
Underwriting our new policies are Millstream Underwriting Limited. With more than a generation’s experience creating tailored group policies, combining their knowledge with Bluefin’s expertise has created a range of tailored policies and unrivalled customer experience unique to the Ski Club.
Our new policies retain many of the great features found on previous versions of Ski Club Travel Insurance policies, including cover for skiing off-piste, without a guide and outside of resort boundaries. In addition, several elements of the Platinum Membership process have been streamlined, with additional activity packs available directly through the Club, and an online portal to conduct any additional medical screenings quickly and easily.
Cover for cancellation and medical expenses is also provided under all of our policies if you fall ill or are forced to self-isolate due to Covid-19, either before or during your travels. This is provided via an endorsement against the policy, which can be found separate to the policy wording. Please contact the memberships team for more details.
Platinum Membership continues to provide exceptional value for money if you are looking to take out insurance alongside your membership, and provides for up to 45 skiing days per year as standard.

There is no cover provided under any section of any Ski Club Travel Insurance policy, including that provided as part of Platinum Membership, in regards of travel to a destination to which the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all but essential travel. This extends to cancellation cover when this advice was in place at the time of booking. You must check carefully before booking and again before travelling.
